Explain cuts, layout and ordering

Choose an allowance suitable for the intended layout and material. Check pack quantities, batch matching and the supplier’s ordering guidance rather than treating an estimate as an order.

Separate supply from fitting

List subfloor or substrate preparation, removal, trims, thresholds, adhesive or grout where relevant, labour and waste handling. Identify provisional work awaiting inspection.
