We built it because most renovation calculators online are either American, with the wrong units and wrong prices, or hidden behind a sign-up wall that wants your email before it'll show you a number. RenoTally does neither. Every calculator works in UK measurements, uses UK average pricing, and gives you an answer straight away, with no account, no email, and no catch.

How the numbers work
Each calculator uses standard coverage rates, for paint and tiles, and current UK average material prices, updated as we go. They're designed to get you within a realistic ballpark, fast enough to help you budget or compare options, but they're estimates, not quotes. Room shapes, wastage, brand choice, and labour costs all move the final number, so always check with your supplier or tradesperson before you buy or book based on a RenoTally result. Who's behind it
RenoTally is an independent site, built and maintained outside of any retailer or renovation company, so the numbers aren't skewed toward selling you anything. If there's a calculator you wish existed, or you spot something that looks off, get in touch. We read everything.
